The School Annual Report and Operational Plan are documents that record the achievements of the previous year and the plans for the current year. The Annual Operation Plan is developed after careful consideration of two important documents. These documents are Queensland State Education’s Destination 2010 Strategic Plan and the Cairns State High School International Accreditation Reports. The two reports allowed the school’s leadership team to identify areas that were of high priority to Education Queensland as a system and to Cairns High school as an individual school. The priority areas are listed in the Operational Plan as Mandatory Inclusions and strategies to address the priority areas and the outcomes anticipated are contained in the Personal Performance Plan of the Principal. The Principal’s Performance becomes both the document that guides the development of Performance Plans for the Deputies, HODs and Guidance Officer and the document that is used by the School Council to monitor and assist the school achieve its goals. |
