Business in the Tablelands

Last month the Year 11 Business Management and International Baccalaureate Business students came together for a fun filled jam packed educational day in the Tablelands. 

Students explored the production process of some the finest products the Tablelands region has on offer and they definitely received more than they bargained for.  Starting at Coffee Works, home to the world’s largest tea and coffee collection, students were treated to some much anticipated chocolate, coffee and tea tastings.  Students also investigated the museum which displayed a detailed history of coffee production.  Next students headed off to Gallo’s to visit the milking station, patting some of the farm animals and viewing the production process of Gallo’s variety of cheeses and chocolate, followed by a delicious lunch.  Finally it was off to Nerada Tea for their famous tea talk and scones, as well as viewing the tea production process.   

The interactive excursion is always a hit with educational, enjoyable  and tastebuds tickling content all combined! Thanks to Gallo Dairyland, Coffee Works and Nerada Tea for allowing us to have such a great behind-the-scenes look at the operating processes of their businesses!
