Cairns State High Musicals

Musicals are seen as an extra-curricular event which often draws together the Performing Arts, Music, Visual Arts, Manual Arts and Home Economics departments. The community has a very high regard for the quality of the performance generated by the students and staff, and look forward to supporting this event.

For the students who audition for parts in the biennial productions, the competition is fierce and challenging. A production will generally contain 70-90 cast members, 15 back stage crew members, plus a the full Orchestra.
