The updated version of the Cairns State High School Enrolment Management Plan (EMP) was gazetted on 6 May 2016. Potential families are required to demonstrate that the student's principal address is within the school's local catchment area upon enrolment.
Once the 'in catchment' demand has been met the EMP defined number of enrolments from 'out of catchment' in the school's seven Programs (including Programs of Excellence) commences across all year levels.
